15 Jul Thüringen Rundfahrt der Frauen Preview (WE 2.1)
The 29th edition of the International Ladies’ Tour of Thüringen (Thüringen Rundfahrt der Frauen) is held from Friday, July 15th 2016 until Thursday, July 21st. Riders will have to cover approximately 664 kilometres throughout seven stages, including an ITT.
Despite the fact that the race clashes partially with other three European stage races, the German stage race will feature some of the best riders of the international peloton. For many riders this stage race will be part of their final racing preparation for Rio Olympics.

Swedish rider Emma Johansson (Orica-AIS) won the 28th edition of the race. Canadian rider Karol-Ann Canuel (Velocio SRAM) finished second, while American rider Lauren Stephens (Tibco SVB) completed the podium.
